Snow Day 2017
Rain and snow come to us characterized by unfruitfulness, yet generating fruitfulness, wherever they fall.
What a beautiful day it was! My family and I woke up to a white blanket covering everything. We didn't expect so much but were delighted to have it. The house soon smelled of bacon, eggs, and biscuits and fresh coffee. Yum! The day was perfectly timed since our baby girl, Aimree, gave us quiet the scare Thursday. We landed ourselves at LeBonheur ER pretty positive that she had appendicitis. Praise God that it wasn't. We left without answers but felt better knowing that surgery was not in the coming hours. Needless to say, all of us needed the day to spend together and rest. After breakfast, we dressed in our warmest and headed outside. Aimree made a snow angel, Axton hopped on the 4-wheeler with Brandon, and I just watched for a minute. It did not take long before we were freezing. After a failed attempt at a snowman, we headed back inside. The snow was the fluffiest I had ever seen. We watched a lot of movies, played some games, ate snow cream, and rested. It was perfect!
